This Goldhawk Rd stalwart is dimly lit and functional, they take cash only, our table was barely big enough, and we (a party of 3) were upsold our platter by £10, but the injera and everything on it were superlative. Excellent work—we were stuffed by the end. The servers are solicitous; the beers and honey wine were good too.
I've been coming here since 2015 feom Bristol and I've tried alot of ethiopian restaurant outside the mother land, but this by far beats all of them. Don't go there without a booking! The food is just like a trip into culinary trans. Good service as the owner himself makes sure that you've been provided everything you needed along with the two lovely ladies. If you're in London and you wanna have a taste of the "13 months of sunshine" land, Hamer restaurant (THE ONE IN SHEPHERDS BUSH) is where you HAVE TO go. Well done guys.👏👏👏👏
The menu have various selection of vegetarian and meat meals rich in flavour.
The taste is highly rich in mild spicies and herbs to create a rich flavour.
The spices and herbs are indigenous and organic where you only found in Ethiopian culture.
If you have not tried Ethiopian flavoured meals, Hammer Restaurant is the best place!
You might want just try as international food but you will end up making it your daily or weekly choice.
